Corelight's flagship product, Investigator, is a cloud-based security platform that helps SOC teams detect and respond to cyber threats. The platform's high volume of security alerts was overwhelming analysts with alert fatigue, making it difficult to identify which threats demanded immediate attention.

Working directly with SOC teams, I uncovered the core workflow bottlenecks through user research. I redesigned the alert triage experience around intelligent prioritization, introducing AI-guided insights translated into plain language, dynamic filtering, and quick-view threat summaries that surface critical context instantly.

SOC teams now make faster decisions under pressure, junior analysts bridge skill gaps through AI-translated technical insights, and incident management becomes focused on genuine threats rather than chasing false positives.

Corelight is a leading cybersecurity company specializing in high-fidelity network detection. Their design system, Gamma, serves cybersecurity experts who work in high-stakes environments where every second counts. The team had adopted Chakra UI to accelerate development, but as the system scaled quickly, it created a fragmented UI kit with no connection to the brand and lacked governance.

Leading the redesign, I interviewed stakeholders, audited existing design patterns and team processes. I rebuilt the foundation by establishing clear governance processes, tailoring the design language specifically for cybersecurity workflows, and creating a cohesive system that balanced development speed with long-term scalability.

Gamma now reduces design and development time across teams, increases component reusability across the product suite, and helps cybersecurity experts work faster and more confidently when it matters most.

TellFinder is a $60M federally funded advanced search platform built for one purpose: helping law enforcement investigators uncover human trafficking activities across surface, deep, and dark web environments.

Through research with law enforcement analysts, I learned they faced a critical barrier: without existing leads, investigators struggled to identify new cases. Manual workflows were slow and the tools available required technical expertise most investigators didn't have. I redesigned the platform to meet investigators where they are, delivering a user-centric dashboard with guided workflows, geographic trend analysis that reveals trafficking corridors, and cross-jurisdictional data linking.

Now investigators can discover actionable leads without advanced technical training, time spent on manual data correlation drops dramatically, and investigators can identify and respond to human trafficking cases faster, which means potential victims found sooner and networks disrupted more effectively.

Uncharted creates powerful visual software that helps people in government, law enforcement, and industry make better decisions through advanced data visualization. Designers working in silos across diverse products and frameworks had created inconsistent design styles that fragmented the product experience.

Through cross-team workshops and design audits, I identified where fragmentation hurt users most. I built a unifying foundation: a comprehensive Figma library, a flexible front-end architecture that adapted to multiple frameworks, and a design language rooted in data visualization principles.

The design system eliminated design debt across products, accelerated time-to-market for new features, and transformed fragmented design tooling into a unified, scalable foundation that maintains innovation while delivering consistent visual cohesion.

As a data visualization company, product consistency matters deeply to Uncharted's users, designers, and developers. Yet ad hoc solutions were proliferating across platforms, creating inconsistencies that slowed development and frustrated analysts navigating between tools.

Leading discovery workshops with product teams, I identified the common pain points and designed four modular widgets that became building blocks across the product suite: Lex (intelligent search), Facets (dynamic navigation), Timeline (temporal visualization), and Pivot Links (contextual actions).

These widgets gave analysts familiar, efficient interactions across all Uncharted products, reduced development time for new features, and created the consistency users needed to focus on analysis rather than learning new interfaces.
